Dion reissues
[edit]Hello, 58.8.17.151 you will see that re-issues of Dion's material HAVE been released on The Right Stuff Records. For example, check out Dion's AllMusic Guide Discography[1] and notice 1968's "Dion" album was issued on this label. That is a credible source. Why does this need to be cited when its so well known and that information is out there? It seems silly to have to cite every artist's reissues in this way. I have seen no other music-related albums page(s) on Wikipedia that operate in this particular manner, it seems to be an example of unnecessary citing. Geneisner (talk) 06:06, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

- Well, I see what you're saying, but I think that would be getting into the area of over citing references when this information is out there, available, and not really controversial at all. It seems silly to have to provide citations for every artist's reissues, covers and provide references for each example in this way. I have seen no other music-related albums page(s) on Wikipedia that operate in this particular manner, it seems to be an example of unnecessary citing. If something is questioned or controversial, then we'll cite the references, sure, but we're talking about discographies of songs which are out there all over the net and can easily be confirmed, and it seems counterproductive and inefficient to require a citation from All Music Guide for every artist's songs and/or albums ever mentioned on Wikipedia.
