"The W.S. Walcott Medicine Show"
[edit]What about a mention of "The W.S. Walcott Medicine Show" from the Band's STAGE FRIGHT album? Levon Helm has stated that Robbie Robertson wrote this song based on stories Levon told him about the Wolcott troupe, which had come through Arkansas regularly when Levon was a boy. Other than the slight name change, this song is a direct reference to, and celebration of, the Wolcott Rabbit's Foot show. Sources include Levon's autobiography (THIS WHEEL'S ON FIRE) and comments he made in the LAST WALTZ movie.Malbuff (talk) 15:11, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
