I think it would be a good idea to add a page relating to sports. If we could find someone who is into sports that could edit this, it would probably be a good idea. Austinro 03:21, 25 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think it would be a good idea to talk about how corrupt and biased the prout school is towards certain people and ethnicities.

corrupt and biased? lets here some talk then other then a statement.

ok? notice the amount of different ethnicities? or the lack thereof? Notice how the school is about 98% caucasian? Notice how the school allows some students to fail 3 classes, while expelling a student for failing 1?

  • Wikipedia's standards require that such a statement has a reliable source to back it up. Your opinion on the school is not encyclopedic information. I also think that students and alumni with strong opinions in this regard should not edit the article, because it comes close to being a conflict of interest. I went to Prout (and won't be editing the article for that reason) and I think it reflects poorly on the school for students to come to the page and attempt to slant it with their own opinions. Articles

[edit]

I'm trying to gather some articles in reliable sources about Prout so that someone could write a bit more about the notable aspects of the school. I'll bullet them below. I'm sure there are more in other papers too. If you add a source, make sure it's a reliable/notable one like Projo, and not a school or local paper. Leebo T/C 14:26, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Don't know how "notable" the Narragansett Times is, but I'll throw in these articles, at least for me to read later and sift through. Thanks Leebo. Bwowen 20:20, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'd say the Narragansett Times is a good source for what we want to do. It's reliable, at least. Notability of sources is usually most important when the notability of the subject has to be asserted. Prout doesn't really need to assert additional notability, so it's not really a main concern. Leebo T/C 20:25, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
