Use of "cynics" not falling under NPOV?
[edit]I note a revision, and subsequent reversion, regarding the use of the word "cynics". I agree with the original edit. The article should reflect a neutral point of view. The word "cynic" is generally used in a derogatory way, and those holding a similar POV to the "members of the public" alluded to, could be made to feel their POV is being derided. This surely falls under the category of NPOV?
Why not use "skeptics", a far less derisory, and arguably, more fitting word? I doubt that anyone would argue that giving half your wealth away would be classed as "selfish" (from the first definition of the reverting editors citation), whereas some would certainly "question the validity" of giving it away (from the definition of "skeptic" - http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/skeptic) MrZoolook (talk) 00:06, 5 September 2011 (UTC)
