Can someone get the melody as a sound file for us? --Doric Loon 12:49, 1 August 2005 (UTC)
- There's a link to a sung version at http://www.lionsrugby.com/sound/Anthem%20Version%202.mp3 - it's a bloody awful song, though! -- Arwel 12:25, 3 August 2005 (UTC)
Ah! I see what you mean. --Doric Loon 09:03, 4 August 2005 (UTC)
- I actually like the song! --HamedogTalk|@ 14:54, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
The article states that the Power of Four is used for different sporting events where the UK and RoI have a joint team. I can't think of any other than the Lions (now that the Great Britain national rugby league team have dropped the '& Ireland' and I think golf (Walker Cup?). To my knowledge nobody has ever thought of using the Power of Four except the Lions.GordyB 13:29, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

I'll be reviewing this one. I'll get to it shortly.--WillC 22:58, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
Comment: Whilst Wrestlinglover does a full review on this, just wanted to mention that the article seems to cover the usage and reaction to the song well, but there isn't much about the actual composition itself (things like the key & time it's written in, verse structure, what instruments it's written for etc.) That might need addressing for it to reach GA standard. - That's because it's not sheet music. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 12:44, 4 January 2014 (UTC)
- Lead and Infobox
- There are plenty of other areas in the infobox not completed. Is there no other information to place in this?
- "every Lions game." - Remove Lions, kind of redundant and common sense since you already said who it was for.
- "didn't engage with it and it was also noted that the fans didn't like it" - WP:CONTRACTIONS
- Background
- "an anthem played to" - Remove played. That way it is "did not have an anthem to represent them"
- 2005 Lions Tour
- "that they would have learnt the words by the time they had arrived in New Zealand." - Awkward sentence in my view. I would switch it up to "that they would know the words by the time they arrived in New Zealand."
- Reception
- "Lions captain, Martin Corry" - Remove comma, disrupts the flow.
- "player, Alun" - Remove comma
- The Power of Love is a disambiguation page
- ""hollow and disliked by fans" - Missing the period at the end of this sentence.
- "reaction to the news from Sky Sports reporters" - Remove "to the news"
- Legacy
- "forgotten about" - Remove about
- "In 2013 during the 2013 British and Irish Lions tour to Australia," → "During the 2013 British and Irish Lions tour to Australia,"

- Ref 10 has no publisher.
- References look fine. They all appear to be reliable, mostly major news outlets or primary in appearances.

- No template for this? I would assume this would be connected to the British and Irish Lions in some manner.
- Some hidden categories you may want to look into that are in the article
- Final comments
Overall the article is fine. Not alot of info is featured but it existed for such a short time this is expected. Fix the above comments and I'll look at it again. It is close to GA.--WillC 19:23, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
- I've fixed most of them. The only one I'm having a problem is the ENGVARB one, I am struggling to find the rogue American English term that must have slipped in, either that or the template was placed in error. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 19:51, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
- Meh, I'll pass it. Not much more can really be done. Good job.--WillC 20:16, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
