The "Success Stories" section

Success Stories

Madi Diaz - A former student at the Philadelphia, PA School of Rock. During her time at School of Rock, Madi appeared in the rock music documentary film Rock School. After School of Rock, Madi went to Boston to attend the Berklee College of Music. While at Berklee, Madi met Kyle Ryan, and the two formed a duo, simply known as Madi Diaz. In 2009, Paste Magazine featured Diaz as one of the "Top Ten Buzziest Bands" at SXSW.

Eric Slick - A former student at the School of Rock. Eric was the first School of Rock All Star drummer. Currently, Eric is the drummer for the rock band Dr. Dog.

C.J. Tywoniak - A former student at School of Rock. During his time at School of Rock, C.J. appeared in the rock music documentary film Rock School, where he stood out over the other kids. After School of Rock, C.J. attended the University of Miami. He recently starred as the lead guitarist in Dave's band in the upcoming Tom Cruise film Rock of Ages. In his free time, C.J. teaches at the Downingtown, PA School of Rock.

Michael Weisman - A former student at the Chicago School of Rock. Michael was recently selected to be a contestant on the Oxygen channel's television show The Glee Project.

The idea of a list of successful alumni is a good one, but titling it "Success Stories" is far too marketing oriented for an encyclopedia. Also, we need external references verifying the notability of each. K8 fan (talk) 02:00, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

On June 27, 2013, the following as added to the Notable Graduates section:

Philadelphia students, and brother and sister, Jendayi and Gyasi Bonds formed the band Charlie Belle. They've gone on to perform at The Austin City Limits Music Festival in 2012. Their song Six has appeared on a national television advertising spot for AT&T U-verse.

These claims really need references for it to be added. I searched, and was not able to find the USA Today reference. I did find that one of their songs was used in the trailer for the Stephen Merritt documentary, and a link about Shedaisy guitars, but we need a bit more than that.
