Requested move

[edit]

The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide Is Press CoverageThe Only Difference between Martyrdom and Suicide Is Press Coverage – has been moved many times (last time June 16, which created many double redirects). If I'm going to clean this up, might as well do it for the capitalisation according to WP:NC, which would mean not to capitalise the preposition 'between'. --HarryCane 11:41, 19 July 2006 (UTC) copied from the entry on the WP:RM page[reply]

Wikiproject Proposal

[edit]

I've proposed a Panic! at the Disco Wikiproject here, to see how many people would be interested before starting one. The project would be an effort by a group of Wikipedians to build and improve all Panic! at the Disco pages (including members of the band, songs and albums). If you think that you'd be reguarly editing these pages, please put your name down at this page so we can see who would be interested in the project. PROPOSITION FOR DELETION

[edit]

I'm seeing now that this song is not at all notable. It was never released on CD, there is not a music video. It's just any old track, though I admit I like it. I don't know why it's here. Does anyone else think it should be deleted? Jazzline b! (talk) 05:26, 23 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, I still strongly believe that this page should be deleted. I didn't know it charted on Billboard. At first I was reluctant to putting the tag up for the page's deletion, but that was because I liked the song. It is not exactly worthy of its own page, though I'll think about that later. Jazzline b! (talk) 23:53, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Then nominate it for [{WP:AFD|AFD]]. I don't necessarily disagree with deletion, I just don't think it's a prod. I think there should be some discussion on this one. That's all. --UsaSatsui (talk) 03:57, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • Here's some discussion: The song was the band's first single and was #5 on the Billboard Hot Modern Rock chart. How is having the fifth most popular modern rock song in America not notable? Because it didn't have a video? Well, video killed the radio star, didn't it? Why was this proposition even brought up? Sheesh... 71.17.216.136 (talk) 15:45, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Emo

[edit]

Panic at the Disco is not emo, neither is this song. Can people please stop associating Panic at the Disco with Emo and remove such genre from this song and possibly add Pop punk as well. Frozen-Coke-Rocks (talk) 19:14, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Survivor

[edit]

Here is an interview with PATD that confirms the Survivor reference[1]. Count de Ville (talk) 16:09, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
