Shirt insignia ≈ swastika?

The resemblance to a swastika is nebulous at best. The design is actually a pair of diamonds (such as on a playing card) one atop the other, joined at the tips. This would appear to be a symbol of the "The State", and not necessarily a military insignia, as it also appears on civilian shirt collars. The diamond motif is repeated on The Chancellor's shirt, with three diamonds aligned horizontally over the heart. This may be intended as an indicator of rank or status within The State's hierarchy. I'd like to add that after watching the episode, The symbol displayed on Wordsworth's collar is not as described in the Production Notes section. Is there a reference for this information. I agree with Mr. Carnage that to say the symbol resembles a swastika, without citation, is personal opinion and doesn't belong in the article. JZelazny (talk) 08:30, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

After a bit of thought, I've removed the Production Notes section on the basis that it has no reference. If a reference can be shown that the symbol was intended to resemble a Nazi swastika, or that Wordsworth's shirt displayed such symbol, please feel free to add it back. Romney Wordsworth

Id like to submit the below for consideration into this article. I personally believe that there is more to the name, Romney Wordsworth, than we have already figured out. I strongly believe there is a simple backwards code to his name.

ROMNEY WORDSWORTH YEN MOR WORTH WORDS speaking Ie: YEN: (A strong desire or inclination; a yearning or craving) More worth words. In short, the very meaning of this character was to illustrate a person desirous of "more valuable/precious words". Words/ideas worth speaking, reading, reciting and ultimately dieing for.

I have no documentation to validate this as fact, but I think if you consider the name, the character and the story.. it speaks for itself. Hope this was interesting to someone out there. Its been driving me crazy! polivo011atgmail.com

The New Chancellor

Is this new Chancellor good and believe in Democracy. I am saying he declared the old Chancellor obsolete. Plus the guy who sets in front of the Chancellor is still there. So I believe that the new Chancellor MAY or been put into office by a vote. But it would probably be by a board of preselected people. totalitarianism still exists in the state. So Mr. Wordsworth's plan did not 100% work. However his plan may have a long term effect.
