Undue Weight
[edit]@HMSConqueror: Hi, not seeing how the Skegness issue is of significance for an encyclopedia. It was a short term minor story that did not receive heavy coverage as you suggest, only the reliable sources Spectator and the i have been quoted. The local MPs website is not a significant source. So I don't think it should be included as it was a flash in the pan story with no long term coverage or consequences, in my view, Atlantic306 (talk) 19:53, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
- The Skegness affair is a good illustration of the NE's editorial tone regarding leavers and leave voting areas though. It very much advocates the 'all leavers are morons' line beloved by a subset of remain supporters. --Ef80 (talk) 09:24, 19 September 2020 (UTC)
- Hi - this is bollocks. You’ve never read The New European have you? Why do you imagine your own prejudiced opinion of a newspaper is worthy of merit when deciding the weight of a particular issue. Remarkable arrogance. 81.109.204.22 (talk) 17:33, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
