Importance

[edit]

I rated this as high importance due to it being the 100th episode. If anyone disagrees with that assessment please feel free to change it back to mid importance (where most other episode articles are ranked). Stardust8212 21:06, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Since this is high in importance, I fleshed out a bigger summary for the intro, including some production info and more depth about the reception. Ideally, we want more production info, which we may have to wait for until there's commentary. I would add the info about the cover of the script being leaked, but I can't find a source for it beyond the original sources, which are dubious at best. I saved the links on my home age, but a better link is preferable. (For example, the two images are speculated (incorrectly) to be related, and one is clearly from another episode. I also cannot confirm when Michael Rowe hosted the images himself, nor can I access his Facebook page and make an archive like I did for Maurice LaMarche's comments for Lethal Inspection.Luminum (talk) 09:56, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cultural References

[edit]

Can we add some cultural references, such as Robot X1 and Roberto showing up for the first time in ages. 80.229.169.189 (talk) 10:08, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

We don't need to list every single character reappearing, especially because any character that appeared in the background could be justifiably described as not having appeared in "ages", including ones much rarer than Robot 1X and Roberto, who both appeared in the movies. The current statement that many characters appear in the background is sufficient.Luminum (talk) 17:17, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Music at the party

[edit]

Anyone know who was that? Thanks! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.39.132.149 (talk) 12:02, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The song is "Bend It!" by Dave Dee Dozey Beaky Mick & Tich. This is not a forum.Luminum (talk) 17:17, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I know, sorry, and thanks. However I meant the one at Benders party in the Planet Express building, around 11:30 into the episode. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.171.165.98 (talk) 18:41, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. No I don't know what song that is, but it sounds like it was done by will.i.am.Luminum (talk) 00:43, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Found it! It's "The Boogie That Be" by the Black Eyed Peas. Greetings!80.171.165.98 (talk) 09:11, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Episode title

[edit]

I don't see it mentioned, but when I saw this episode's title, I thought it was related to the scene in Mel Brooks' History of the World, Part I where the Count d'Monet says, "The people are revolting!" -- seen in this YouTube video at 7:40. The scene even explicitly explains the double entendre as is also done by the newspaper in this episode. In another genre, "The peasants are revolting" is a running gag in the Wizard of Id comic strip. Ashanda (talk) 05:32, 8 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
