Thoughts
[edit]It looks like it's off to a good start. I would include something about its sister book Green Team. Here's review of the first issue and some info on the book's intial announcement to help with a publication history and critical reception sections.
And some interviews with Simone: comicvine newsarama wired dccomics
Not sure how much of those will be relavant to the article, but I'll let you decide. Argento Surfer (talk) 14:51, 4 June 2013 (UTC)
- I looked over your improvements, and it's shaping up very nicely. You may want to check around (not sure where exactly), but I don't think you need to italisize quotes like you've done in the PH section. Nice work! Argento Surfer (talk) 12:43, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
- I did some copy editing to smooth out some of the presentation. Feel free to revert any/all of it if you'd like. A few specifics:
- I try to avoid using the word "that" as much as possible. It's overused and usually incorrect. Plus, I think the rephrased version sounds better 100% of the time. But that's just me.
- The FBC should be in-universe material only. Any quotes or reworld information should be worked in elsewhere.
- Likewise, the rest of the article should be real-world info as much as possible. Story info should only be in the PH if it's relevant to the real world.
- The reception section looks great for now, but you'll need to trim back the quotes some as more issues come out. Otherwise, it'll either get very bulky or give undue weight to the first issue.
- I added a ref for sales info, but it's not in the style you've used for the rest of them. Feel free to adjust it.
- I've uploaded an image, but it won't show properly until this is moved over to article space. Which, by the way, I think you're ready to do. :)
- Nice work!
- Thanks for the input and you've made some nice improvements! I pretty much just threw in some stuff around that seemed important or relevant on some scale, though they probably would fit better elsewhere.
- Would you suggest turning the "Members" section into something like "Characters"? Because - there are more "important" characters in the book than just the team, and the article is about both (the book, and the team).
- And yeah, I submitted the article to AFC (should I have just moved it to article namespace...?) a few days ago, still waiting for it be reviewed.
- Again, thank you! || Tako (talk) 18:37, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
- I think "Characters" is the more common style. I'm not sure about the AFC. I've never created an article in userspace before. I usually do all my building in the articlespace. Argento Surfer (talk) 20:54, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
