The Misconceptions of Us is the full third album of SHINee. The Misconceptions of You and Me have always been marketed as "The 3rd album Chapter 1" and "The 3rd album Chapter 2" while the main album has always been referred to as "The 3rd album" and has always been marketed that way as SM, never a repackage. Even outside of SM's marketing, both albums contain songs that were recorded in the same sessions with the goal of assembling them into 1 recording, definitively defining this as an album. See the debate on Talk:Song Machine, Season One: Strange Timez or Talk:Born Again (The Notorious B.I.G. album). The former is for a multipart album that considered of 8 EPs that were released as as compilation at the end of the year, and discussing how to sort it between an album or compilation. The latter is a debate as to what a studio album is and what a compilation is. In both cases, The Misconceptions of Us fits as the full 3rd album of SHINee, rather than a compilation album. - K-popguardian (talk) 19:47, 6 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
