What book is this actually based on?

[edit]
  • In the lede, we say (without citation) "based on the 2014 book Churchill's Secret Warriors: The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes of WWII by Damien Lewis."
  • In the production section, we say (with citation) "acquired the rights to Damien Lewis's book The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare: How Churchill's Secret Warriors Set Europe Ablaze and Gave Birth to Modern Black Ops"
  • It's possible it's BOTH, but we should resolve the discrepancy, at minimum.

Historical Accuracy

[edit]

The fact that this movie is based on real incidents and real events cries out for a section discussing how close the movie follows historical fact, and what parts are fictional and what is implausible/impossible from a historical perspective. It would be a great addition if someone could track down (or even procure!) feedback from historians of this period. 73.255.248.150 (talk) 18:47, 16 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
