punk?

[edit]

i removed this

Victor Hayden was involved at the start of the legendary punk rock club at 924 Gilman Street, in Berkeley, California. He was the one who discovered the location.

found this:

but i'm pretty sure it's a different Hayden -- happy to put it back if someone can find a ref, though. Doceddi (talk) 19:19, 1 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Stage name genesis?

[edit]

Uh...with such an offbeat stage name--not that it's appreciably more weird than Captain Beefheart, mind you--shouldn't there be SOME explanation as to how Hayden ended up as The Mascara Snake? Victor Haydon was named The Mascara Snake by Captain Beefheart during the rehearsal and recording sessions for Trout Mask Replica. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ausganger (talkcontribs) 21:05, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Fast and bulbous!

[edit]

The thing that is "fast and bulbous" is not unknown. It is clearly a squid eating dough in a polyethylene bag. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.108.155.196 (talk) 04:59, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Probably true. Also, a tin teardrop. Ghmyrtle (talk) 10:02, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
