One thing stands out about this movie in my mind,and that is that "Holmes" is not dressed in his famous attire (deerstalker cap, Inverness cloak, meerschaum pipe, first used by William Gillette in the famous play SHERLOCK HOLMES), although the dialog says that he is. In fact, he's wearing a large round checked hat, a coat with crisscross stripes, and is using a small black pipe.
