Fair use rationale for Image:Themanwhoknewtoomuch1.jpg
[edit]Image:Themanwhoknewtoomuch1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Public domain?
[edit]This article is categorised to say that this is a public domain film. Is this really the case? Papna (talk) 16:15, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
- No, that was a double mistake, which I corrected a moment ago. The 1934 version was in the public domain in the US, but copyright was restored to the Hitchcock estate under the GATT treaty. http://www.copyright.gov/fedreg/1998/63fr19287.html 69.110.235.152 (talk) 05:46, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
Plot
[edit]The Plot section needs rewriting - it reads as if the action takes place in Morocco, when in fact most of it takes place in London Johnsjames (talk) 09:12, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
wrong link
[edit]the link to Christopher Olsen is probably wrong —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.203.207.116 (talk) 23:31, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
Trimming the plot summary
[edit]The plot summary was 751 words, a bit long by Wikipedia guidelines. I trimmed it down to 696 words. Invertzoo (talk) 01:25, 5 March 2013 (UTC)
- It seems to be 713 now. -- Pete Best Beatles (talk) 06:18, 9 February 2022 (UTC)
Remake
[edit]Is this the only time Hitchcock remade one of his own movies?
And did he ever remake other movies (which had first been shot by other directors)?

Comment
[edit]Moved this comment from the top where it was incorrectly inserted
The Wikipedia page for the 1956 Alfred Hitchcock film 'The Man Who Knew Too Much' shows cast information for BOTH that version AND Hitchcock's 1934 version of the same film. They were separate films, made more than 20 years apart, with entirely different casts. The conflated information appears to result from some technical issue. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Clovis2201 (talk • contribs) 04:15, 21 July 2024 (UTC)
- I don't see what you're talking about. This page talks only about the 1956 version. - kosboot (talk) 23:10, 21 July 2024 (UTC)
