    Comments:
I understand this is part of a class project: User:Profhanley/teaching/literature of labor. I will make minor edits, as I see fit, and list major edits here for the editors to take care of. If these issues are addressed I will continue with the review.
1b. Per WP:LEAD, the lead section should provide a summary of the article content.
1a b. The Critical Reception section is just a list (Wikipedia:Embedded list)of quotes, and needs to be translated into well-written prose.
2a b. Full references are required for all the quotes. As an example, I provided the full reference for the Nation article [1] What publication Wendy Lesser and James Crumley quotes from?
2c. In "Themes" the article states Major themes prominent throughout Gilb's collection include: proletarian work and love, vacations, the family, friendships, youth and aging. This requires a reference (footnote).
2. Citations are also required in the Genre and Style sections to show where this information is coming from.
Conclusion

I am closing this review now. Due to the above issues the article currently does not meet the GA criteria. The basic structure of the article is there, but additional research and writing is required to fill out the analysis (Genre, style, background about where the book came from, etc). maclean (talk) 10:15, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
