How Wonderful!

[edit]

I was delighted to see this page, as I have decided to do a Wikipedia article for Betty Lou herself. Since this one is already here, but still a stub, I will be honored to expand it, and I urge the administrators to wait to delete it as I improve. --Chuchunezumi 19:25, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd be very happy to see this expanded. I started the article, since this show was a staple of my childhood in the 70's. I don't think we need to worry about it being deleted, as the notability is well-grounded (not only a very long running children's program, but the one with the LONGEST run in American TV history! --Rehcsif 19:53, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm thrilled to know I wasn't the only one who enjoyed the show so much as a child (in Des Moines in the early 1980s). I actually wrote Mrs. Varnum a letter letting her know I still remembered her, and she very kindly returned my letter and enclosed an autographed photo which MUST be one of her first few seasons, because she looks to be in her late twenties or early thirties, and the photograph was obviously pulled from a frame, and looks to be decades old. I honestly feel humbled to have it; I almost feel as though it belongs in an Iowa broadcast museum! Thanks for writing the article! Cheers! --Chuchunezumi 20:12, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The last track on their album Geogaddi is called Magic Window. Strangely enough, it is 1 minute and 46 seconds of silence. Could this be added as trivia? --Deathdoor 04:54, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Since I doubt it has anything to do with this TV show, I'd say no... --Rehcsif 05:17, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
