Song listing
[edit]The song listing posted previously (under the erroneous header "DVD tracklisting" - this was a movie first; my edit summary contains a typo that renders this point nonsensical - sorry!) listed a number of performances not included in the film and as yet not released commercially. I've revised the list accordingly. 23skidoo 20:12, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
- I added Shake Rattle and Roll under Haley because while the two DVD versions I have don't include this performance, it is clearly available on one of the other DVD releases because the clip has been posted to YouTube taken from a DVD of the movie. 23skidoo (talk) 16:59, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
This article is a duplicate
[edit]There is already an article on the movie. There doesn't seem to be anything new to add with an article on the concert: only the movie performances are listed rather than a complete performance list; there is also an unsourced claim that Jagger attended the show. Do we know this? All we know is he was interviewed for the movie. I think the two should be merged. 68.146.70.177 (talk) 19:36, 14 March 2012 (UTC)
Booing little Richard
[edit]I was at this concert and can say that the reason Little Richard was booed, was because he was over-running and people wanted to see Chuck Berry. But as personal experience isn't enough to edit the page, I'll wait and see if anyone can verify this or try to find a source myself. Although the whole article is not sourced either. Was the article written from someones personal experience? 86.159.28.47 (talk) 19:29, 20 December 2013 (UTC)
Jerry Lee Lewis
[edit]I have deleted the unsourced statement that Jerry Lee Lewis is booed because he was allegedly late and drunk. This is a textbook violation of Wikipedia's Biographies of Living Persons policy. There is no indication of Lewis being inebriated in the movie of this concert, and his performance takes place during daylight hours which casts doubt on him being "hours late", too. A google search has failed to turn up any source to back up this claim. Of course if someone can cite a book, a review of the concert, etc. that supports the claim, feel free to put it back. I was tempted to remove the Little Richard reference too (see 86's note above) but it's not as BLP-violating as the Lewis comment. 68.146.52.234 (talk) 23:07, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
