  • "The commercial and its associated campaign, proved hugely successful; on the week of its launch, Halo 3: ODST became the top-selling game for the Xbox 360 worldwide" -- I'd avoid implying causation here unless you have a specific ref that the ad directly caused the higher sales (It's Halo, it probably would have sold well even if they didn't advertise at all.)
    • Do you think I should remove the info about the game's sales? I'm not sure how to word it without at least a little implication remaining.
  • " The assembled mourners, a mix of military personnel and civilians, attend as the casket's red ODST flag is removed, revealing the name of the deceased." -- ODST should be linked and explained with a line or two; it's not an acronym that is known outside of Halo.
    • I added the explanation into the lead section because it was a little hard to introduce it to the "sequence" section without ruining the flow of the sentences. diff Does it need to be in the sequence section or is it ok there?
  • The "Background" section needs to include info about the "Landfall" campaign of Halo 3, as that was a much higher-budget live action series to promote Halo 3 than "Believe" was.
  • It should also note the Halo film and the continued problems plaguing development for that.
    • Also in the same diff just above. Is that sufficient or should I expand it a little more?
  • What dates did filming take place?
    • I can't find that information unfortunately.
  • Any information on the budget?
    • I can't find anything beyond "very limited" [1]
  • Another graph is necessary to cover the subsequent marketing of Halo games and how this may have affected it; Bungie went more ambitious in the live-action marketing campaign of Reach with "Birth of a Spartan" and "Deliver Hope," and then 343 Industries went even further with Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn.
    • diff I put this after Forward Unto Dawn because the ref explicitly mentions the success of Landfall and The Life for its creation without mentioning the shorts for Halo: Reach.
  • There is a copyright issue with the image in the article; it probably needs to be reduced to 400px in width so it doesn't risk running afoul of copyright policy.
    • Do you think this image of the second funeral would be better? If not then I'll shrink the existing image.
  • The external links all appear to be working, and there are no disambiguation links. There are five duplicate links which need to be removed.
    •  Done
  • I see no problems with stability or neutrality.
Placing the article on hold pending improvements. —Ed!(talk) 23:01, 18 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the review, another pair of eyes picks up so much that I just didn't address before the nomination. :) James086Talk 14:25, 19 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The image you have is good, I think the alternate, when rendered smaller, would be hard to see. Taking another look, I think this does a great job with the topic now. Once the image is fixed, I'm passing it for GA. good work! —Ed!(talk) 23:21, 19 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I shrank the existing image and removed a sentence to hopefully avoid implying causation. Thanks again! James086Talk 07:17, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Great! I'm very happy to pass for GA. —Ed!(talk) 21:36, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
