Alterations
[edit]Where do all of these alterations come from? From what I can tell they aren't cited at all, and it seems to me they're just junk. Of course they're going to be endless versions of an urban legend like this. Some of them just seem out of place. For example "In some versions of the story, the message reads "HUMANS CAN LICK TOO, MY DEAR" making the killer seem even more of a creep." How does the addition of two words make him "seem even more of a creep?" This article really needs a clean up. BrainDance (talk) 16:26, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
Possible other version?
[edit]I once heard a version where the dog had been left outside and froze to death. The words weren't written anywhere, it was just sort of implied that the thing under the bed was a monster.
