Where's the mandolin solo? Isn't that "Workin' them Angels"? --The Fwanksta May 19, 2007, 14:46.

Also, I just realized, I'm not sure how to cite it if it is true. The liner notes for the album say that he plays bouzouki and mandolin on the album, but what instruments are played on specific songs is never accredited. As far as I know, it's un-citeable. --The Fwanksta May 19, 2007, 22:34.

Including lyrics

[edit]

There is already a link provided in the article for what a pantoum is. It is unnecessary to include the lyrics to the entire song to provide an example. If anything, one stanza should be properly quoted using {{cquote|. When an article is classified as a stub it invites users to broaden and expand the information ABOUT the song - how it materialized in the brain of Mr. Peart, what was the inspiration, has it influenced other lyricists, the meaning of the song in general as stated by the author (if it can be supported by secondary sources). I am going to revert the inclusion of lyrics for now. Wisdom89 16:59, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Just curious - is this a general policy of not including lyrics? Not a big deal I guess, but it just seems strange - if there's one thing about a song that someone might want to find out by looking it up in Wikipedia, it seems to me it would be the lyrics. I would expect all song articles to have complete lyrics for the subject song. Yes, I know, there are plenty of "lyric database" sites out there, but if you've ever visited them, you know they are filled with irritating ads and popups and anyway who knows if they're accurate? I'd certainly rather get my info about lyrics here, where at least the content is "peer reviewed"! Branchc (talk) 15:12, 10 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, sorry, I see now the referenced guideline at WP:NOT#LYRICS. Still seems unfortunate to me, but I understand. Branchc (talk) 14:16, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
