[edit]Niehkuan, good start. I did a lot of formatting and used the <ref> tag for your references to get you in good shape. Once do the following, please proceed with moving this draft into mainspace.
- respond to templates I left;
- link to other Wikipedia articles where appropriate;
- convert external links into prose hypertext rather than raw URLs.

Hi Niehkuan,
I liked the work you have so far. I edited some grammar splices and used some synonyms to make the phrases you used flow better.
I think two areas to keep working would be to give a small background of a lot of the names you use at the end of this history section. I think you can also add a small section talking about what the korean society does for work today.
Other than that I think you are close to a product that can be moved over to the main page!
Niehkuan, I made additional edits for clarity, and added many links. I'm okay with this moving to mainspace if Shalor (Wiki Ed) agrees. -Reagle (talk) 20:47, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
- Reagle, Niehkuan, this looks good - my main concern, however, is that the sources seem to be more about James Alward Van Fleet rather than the society. We need more sources that are specifically about the society. There's already an article for James Alward Van Fleet, so I'm concerned that in its current state someone may argue that it should just be merged into the main article. - Shalor (Wiki Ed), good point. I wonder if AmandaRR123 or LibrarianBTeam would have any suggestions for sources? In any case, this assignment is ending soon and I think it'd be better to put this in mainspace and have it challenged than sit here a waste -- but if others disagree I'll defer. -Reagle (talk) 18:49, 20 November 2019 (UTC)
- Niehkuan, thanks for your work on this! I do have a question: is the organization called the Korea Society or the Korean Society? You've used the name Korean Society in your article, but several of the references, including the organization's own website, refer to it as the Korea Society. In terms of more information about the society itself, I recommend checking a few newspaper sources. Ethnic NewsWatch or Historical Newspapers may include articles on programs, events and other notable activities of the Korea Society. You might also want to take a look at sites like GuideStar or Charity Navigator, which track and analyze nonprofit orgs regarding their finances, leadership, programs, mission, etc. I hope this is helpful. "The" in title
[edit]Per MOS:THETITLE, it appears the society goes by "The Korea Society" and not just "Korea Society", so we include "the" toobigtokale (talk) 08:22, 14 January 2024 (UTC)
