[edit]We are trying to create a page for the brand The Knot. What do we have to do to keep this page.—Preceding unsigned comment added by KSerrano (talk • contribs) 17:38, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
- A. write the article in an encyclopedic style, B. provide reliable sources (see WP:RS) that establish the brand's notability (see WP:N). Thank you. Dr Aaij (talk) 17:39, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
- The few references cited currently seem to provide enough evidence of notability that the article does not warrant speedy deletion. However, the article does still read as an advertisement, and additional sources would be helpful. I have removed the CSD tag and placed an advertisement tag instead. Thanks! Davnor (talk) 17:43, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
- I concur. I saw you removed the speedy template, and I also saw in Google News that there are (some) reliable sources. The article, however, neeeds to be less a list of media mentions and occurences (and namedropping) and more an article. Dr Aaij (talk) 17:58, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
- I completely agree. If the article can not be improved within a reasonable amount of time, it may be a candidate for proposed deletion under WP:NOTADVERTISING. Davnor (talk) 18:10, 22 March 2010 (UTC)
- The company is clearly notable, I've removed unsourced, promotional lists of information that are inappropriate for the article. The main text could do with being re-written to agree with WP:NPOV more but it looks reasonable as it is. Smartse (talk) 11:46, 25 March 2010 (UTC)

- If you want an edit looking over just remove the "tlx|" part from inside the {{ }} section of the template and it will be reactivated. Smartse (talk) 11:59, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
