David Dilts

[edit]

David A. Dilts is co-author of a quote in the lead of this article. That citation is from 1990. For truth-in-advertising purposes, Dilts became editor of the Journal of Collective Negotiations in 2003. ("David A. Dilts, Ph.D." School of Business and Management Sciences. Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne. Accessed 2009-07-01.) - Tim1965 (talk) 22:47, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merging duplicate article

[edit]

A duplicate article with some odd POV commentary and occasional vandalism has existed at Journal of collective negotiations since July 2009. I want to make it into a redirect to back here, but first I'm making sure we don't lose any valid edits from that article over the last several months. Can anyone verify or comment on the following claims, before merging them into the original article?

  • "the journal was defunct in the years 2001, 2002, and 2004"
  • "Since [the 2004 changes], most of the authors in the journal come from [Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne]"
  • included in subjects of journal articles: "the minimum wage"

I realize the duplicate article and commentary was added by someone with an axe to grind, but I tried to highlight the most rational statements to insure we retain any apt descriptions and not throw the baby out with the bathwater. I hope I'm not naively walking into the middle of some kind of battlefield, since I see this article has been indefinitely semi-protected since June 2009 (right before the duplicate was created). ——Rich jj (talk) 16:30, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • I would argue that anything lacking citation be rejected. The first two claims are challengeable; the third probably not so (and might be added without citation). - Tim1965 (talk) 01:12, 10 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please update the Queue page as appropriate.

Note that I am not involved in this project any much more than any other editor, just posting these notes since it is quite a big change, potentially
