Unexplained oddity
[edit]Regarding this passage: One oddity never explained was in the first season's finale, Karen gave birth to a baby girl; in the second season premier, there was no baby girl, but rather an additional son.
Considering that they also changed the show's setting (Indiana in the ABC run, and elsewhere in the NBC run), I would almost be inclined to consider the two seasons as two separate series that had the same name. I, however, have not seen any episode of the NBC run - only the ABC run - so I cannot say this from experience. Still, if they are seen as two separate series, this explains the difference in offspring. SchuminWeb (Talk) 07:36, 4 May 2006 (UTC)
- I am watching the second season on reruns and saw the first on DVD. The first and the second are pretty much separate. I like the second season a whole lot better. Too bad they never went into a third. -Husnock 05:35, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
I recently starting watching this show and can see why they choose Ann to replace as the wife. She is a lot funnier and very much more attractive. Also, there seems to be a habit of putting her in very short skirts with dark black tights. The second season has her in at least five episodes where she prances around showing her legs. The original season had the first wife in more conservative outfits. I wonder if this was on purpose. -Husnock 05:35, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
