The first sentence of the lede says The Infamous Stringdusters are a progressive acoustic/bluegrass band. While they have acoustic instruments, they also use effects and Falco plays a Fender Telecaster and uses a pedal board for both his acoustic and electric guitars[1]. Bands like the Seldom Scene have been all acoustic, and I think calling them an acoustic/bluegrass band would be fine as they've always played quite a few rock tunes in a bluegrass style on acoustic instruments, but I don't think it is accurate for the Stringdusters.
