Unsolicited Peer review
[edit]Though I would love to do the GA review I am in the middle of two others right now, so don't want to take on a third, however, I have a couple suggestions:
- First, content wise for a novel you are missing sections on Themes, Style and Genre which are really important for any novel and are almost always in newspaper reviews and are recommended in WP:MOS (novels) (for examples of these types of sections see Quicksilver (novel), Warriors (novel series), Le Père Goriot and Cousin_Bette).
- The themes and genres adopted by the author are already present in the Development section. They donot need to be in separate sections, content wise.
- It doesn't feel like you adequetely cover themes or style. I would be really surprised if there are not more themes that you have not identified in that section. I can read through a couple of sources and see if I can find a better example of what I think is missing.
- Frankly, this is all that I could find about themes, genres etc. You are surely welocme to find anything else. — Legolas (talk2me) 10:36, 12 January 2011 (UTC)

- Second, you don't need citations in the charachter section, unless of course it is from secondary sources. It is assumed that any content that is in the book is common knowledge (unless of course someone is debating your point)
- Agreed, but just added.
- third, you don't need a charachters section. I have actually seen multiple articles which integrate descriptions of the characters into the plots themselves pretty well.
- What do you suggest?
- I think you could integrate most of the content into the plot with no trouble just using asides throughout. Such as for Shiva, you could make mention of him earlier in the plot section and say that he is the primary person whom the narration follows, etc.
- What do you suggest?
- Last, we are doing a collaboration at WP:Novels right now at Wikipedia:WikiProject Novels/Collaboration and I would call your expansion a stub kill.
- I did not get you.
- Sorry, I meant it qualifies as one of the 5-5-5 Improvement drive items as a stub kill if you would like (found in the first section of the collaboration page, and I hope you will add the article to the list of the ones we have been working on for the Improvement drive
- I did not get you.
Hope that helps, and you will continue to work on novel based articles, we could always use more people working at the WikiProject, Sadads (talk) 18:48, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
- Hope you look into my replies. Thanks for taking your time to look at it. — Legolas (talk2me) 05:42, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
