This history in this article is interesting, but I can't quite see what is going on since most of the cites don't have URLs and the way this is written is really hard to follow. I used to live in HoCo (Columbia) before moving to nearby Balto Co and working in Anne Arundel, so I have read a lot of the papers mentioned and driven past that building dozens of times and I still can't figure out what's going on in the article.
