[edit]Now that this is official, "The Hobbit (film)" definatly deserves it's own artilce... please help me fix it up. --Acidburn24m (talk) 20:02, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
There's something wrong with the redirects and/or some other Wikipedia linkages. Links from the Rankin-Bass article and other articles external links end up on this article instead of on the article on the 1977 made-for TV animated version of the Hobbit. --AlainV (talk) 20:19, 21 December 2007 (UTC)
two films to be two parts of hobbit with other infromation (gandalf/whie council, hunt for gollum etc.) inter laced or one film hobbit and one film other things

Just a warning: I tried starting an article for the new Dune film (estimated release 2009 or 2010) but it was removed because it didn't meet 'notability guidelines' that require upcoming films to have started shooting before an article is created for them. I think for some films, like The Hobbit, this rule is a little strange. You guys might want to check WP:NFF for more. A lot of notable things can happen during the production of a film before shooting as started. Just wanted to let you know. --Saket (talk) 12:47, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
