Big Stache? (spelling)

[edit]

Wasn't it Grey Stache or something like that?--128.8.128.33 11:38, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Greystash is the correct spelling. That's what Homer's photo says. abelson 14:29, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, he seems to be named for his moustache... AnonMoos (talk) 00:27, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ending Song?

[edit]

Anyone know what the song was at the end of the episode? It sounded somewhat familiar... 68.106.68.69 05:06, 12 December 2006 (UTC) Daniel[reply]

If your referring to the one I'm thinking of, it was a version of the theme of Brokeback Mountain. -- Scorpion0422 05:31, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

We are a mighty faggot

[edit]

I imagine this kicked up quite a bit of controversy, even if "faggot" was used in that timey archaic form. Don't you guys think it deserves a mention?--DethFromAbove 14:46, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't remember hearing it. Perhaps it was cut from airing in some places?

It seems like theres a chunk of the story missing from the synopsis..its been a while since i saw the episode, or i'd fill it in myself Wikiwarlock 03:28, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In fact, in re-airings of the episode, an on-screen definition of the word is displayed. I'm sure this was because there were so many complaints. I thought this deserved mention but I wasn't sure, so... 70.59.45.239 18:24, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What's this?

[edit]

The article says that The language used by the characters on the episode is a reference to the English language. What does that refer to? The episode, like all Simpsons episodes, is in English... Entheta 16:57, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Haw-Hawked?

[edit]

I noticed the ‹The template Talkfact is being considered for merging.› [citation needed] citation on the "Haw-Hawked" reference. Not sure if this qualifies as "proof", especially since the site I'm using as "proof", I assume, will be gone shortly after the episode (re)airs a little over 3 hours from now, but on the TV Listings website that I frequent, the episode is indeed listed that way. (At least now I know where they get their titles from!)

The page showing the title for that episode is here --Canuckguy 21:37, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

haw hawked... i saw that in my tv guide but i thought it was a spelling mistake...

The Goodfellas?

[edit]

Would this episode be a loose parody of The Goodfellas? 68.44.144.224 (talk) 17:08, 23 July 2008 (UTC) A small portion of the episode is positively a parody of The Goodfellas, but not the whole episode. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.108.237.36 (talk) 01:10, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
