Cast/Crew members
[edit]Editors have added ensemble/crew members from the Signature production. I have deleted them per "The names of non-notable (i.e., non-bluelinked) ensemble and chorus members, understudies and non-notable production team members (other than directors and choreographers) should be deleted. Only the actors playing principal (significant speaking and singing) roles should be mentioned." See WP:WPMT Article Structure, Productions. JeanColumbia (talk) 00:02, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
Signature Theatre production
[edit]I restored the basic details of the Signature Theatre production as I believe that production meets the requirements of notability. It is a professional production by a well-known regional theater, it is well-documented (that is, WP:VERIFY), and it is one of the few majors revivals of the musical.
What I think unbalanced the article was that too much material was devoted to the Signature production, ("undue weight"). So, per:"The particular topics and facts within an article are not each required to meet the standards of the notability guidelines; instead, article content is governed by other policies and guidelines, such as the policy requiring Verifiability and the guidelines covering the use of reliable sources and of trivia sections.
The undue weight guideline applies to factual content and not just viewpoints. An article should not give undue weight to any aspects of the subject, but should strive to treat each aspect with a weight appropriate to its significance to the subject." (WP:NNC)
I am trying to keep it to brief but essential facts. Hopefully other editors will agree. JeanColumbia (talk) 12:01, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

Inexplicably MIA: 1967 premiere production at Ahmanson Theatre in LA
[edit]My vintage late 1967 memory of sitting through this Robert Goulet turkey (IMHO) in a nosebleed seat in the brutal Ahmanson in LA is confirmed by the relevant section of that venue's WP article, but if this article were to be believed, it had no existence before its 1968 Broadway run. A case of traditional NYC myopia regarding the existence of the arts in those blurry wastelands west of the Hudson, perhaps? 66.249.172.20 (talk) 16:16, 21 February 2016 (UTC)

Plot and copy right violation
[edit]The plot added on January 21, 2019, is a direct copy and paste from "Masterwork Broadway", at [[1]] an apparent copy right violation. (See the terms and conditions on this website for a full declaration of the sites terms.) Therefore, I am reverting the article to the previous good version to remove this copy right violation.
