Missing Heading 1

[edit]

I was wondering if the "Good night and have a pleasant tomorrow" close in the newscast bit (and later used by Chevy Chase, Jane Curtin and Tina Fey on "Saturday Night Live's" "Weekend Update" segments) was derived, at least in part, from "What's My Line" host John Charles Daly's sign-off as ABC News anchor from 1953 to 1960, "Good night and a good tomorrow." I did notice some similarities. --Wbwn 15:21, 18 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Channel One was on SIXTH street, NOT 60th.

I'm a victim of the 60s on the Lower East Side and I remember the club. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.146.8.166 (talk) 20:55, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cool, you lived on the Lower East Side during the 1960s, must have been an interesting experience and time, don't know why you're calling yourself a "victim". Anyway, if you're sure it's 6th and not 60th then you should be bold and go ahead with the edit. Alialiac (talk) 14:49, 19 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This article needs to be re-written in present tense. Is there a tag for that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.36.139.208 (talk) 18:36, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Done. Just a few tweaks. 50.54.225.39 (talk) 01:28, 23 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Democratic Mumbles

[edit]

Democratic Mumbles is described as news footage of '70s Democratic hearings [...]. If that's supposed to mean the 1973 United States Senate Watergate Committee hearings, it's not a very good description of them. Any thoughts on how that might be clarified? -- Pemilligan (talk) 00:22, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
