Indie Rock?
[edit]I would dispute them being labelled an indie rock act. It's twee, pure and simple.
- Although Fundamentally I agree, this would be hard to justify, especially since 'twee' is widely agreed to be a subgenre of
indie rock.

- I'm no expert but I don't think they are that sweet or twee (they do swear a lot). I would classify them as indie rock though definetly on the boundaries. I am tempted to get rid of the indie pop tag on the page.
I agree that I don't like the indie pop tag (it's not correct), so I think I will remove it. I think there are also punk and grunge influences in their sound, but how do you justify that? 65.64.200.116 18:01, 12 October 2007 (UTC)
Picture
[edit]It is not the best of pictures. What happened to the previous one? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.131.88.85 (talk • contribs) 03:56, August 6, 2006
- The aim here is to provide free information, not pretty pictures. If you want to take a better picture, license it under a free license and upload it, you're more than welcome to. pfctdayelise (translate?) 10:36, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
- So you took the picture. I am not suggesting another picture is taken; another picture I think should be found. And dont give me 'pretty' picture. The picture must speak for the article. The aim certainly is not just the info. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.130.158.249 (talk • contribs) 05:29, August 7, 2006
- I didn't take the picture. If you click on the image description page, you'll see it's from flickr. If you want to find a better, freely licensed image, go right ahead. pfctdayelise (translate?) 04:17, 8 August 2006 (UTC)
- I would, but Im dead lazy. I cant be bothered to learn how to upload pictures. Nevertheless, I hope some one agrees with me and will change the picture. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.130.158.249 (talk • contribs) 06:09, August 8, 2006
- Would you look at that, I actually changed the picture. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.130.158.249 (talk • contribs) 06:13, August 8, 2006
- That is unacceptable. Look at the tag of the publicity photo: it says it can only be used "in the absence of a free alternative". There is a free alternative now. We should not be adding copyrighted photos to Wikipedia if it can be avoided. Please do not replace it unless you have a freely-distributable alternative. - Easy there judge judy. I'd sign my comment, but my fingers are tired.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.228.53.39 (talk • contribs) 01:06, August 11, 2006
awful awful band. it is disturbing how successful they have become considering they have no grasp on how to play an instrument or sing, and their songwriting skills are extremely lacking.
- This isn't appropriate. But meh, go on for interest sake. Support your claim. 60.228.45.167 07:47, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
Marriage
[edit]So Patience Hodgson announced on her Twitter page that herself and John Patterson got married including pictures to back up their claim but that's not good enough for Wikipedia because the information isn't on a web site. Good Grief. Mirrabooka (talk) 16:28, 2 November 2013 (UTC)
