Website History?
[edit]Is such an in-depth, detailed history of the movie's website appropriate on a page that's primarily about the film? It seems only marginally related, especially when we get into "is it for sale or isn't it?" If nobody has an objection (and I'll wait a while to see if there is one) I'm going to prune that section way back. Pleonic (talk) 03:25, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
- No objection here. Myself, I came to this Talk page to get a discussion going about doing just what you propose. The information is of marginal interest, at best. Belchfire (talk) 02:55, 5 July 2012 (UTC)

Reception?
[edit]Most articles about a movie have a section about how well the movie was received, by audiences, and by critics. There might also be something about nominations and awards, if any. Can someone find reception information about this movie, and add it to the article? SlowJog (talk) 18:21, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
The best Jesus film i watched
[edit]The gospel of john by Philip saville is the best Jesus movie for me. I watch it every night before sleeping to remind me over and over of the truths that Jesus wants us to know, live by, and not be confounded . I watch it with my 6 yr old granddaughter who has memorized the beginning narration and even the script of john the baptist. . Last lenten season, i advised all my friends to watch it, and they all loved it. The music by Jeff Dana is very very moving and apt to every part of the movie. In fact right now, i am listening to the soundtrack. And all the actors are also the best. Best Jesus actor, portraying the human side of Jesus so naturally. And all the apostles and pharisees, the blind, the lame all did d their part well. I watch it on you tube every day as part of my bible reading. To me, john the beloved has the most accurate account of Jesus' ministry because he was always with Him. Whenever Jesus has to go somewhere, He takes with Him only the three inner circle- Peter, John and James. Watch the most beautiful Jesus movie Gospel of John !
