Title Sumuru?

[edit]

It seems highly unlikely that this film is known by the alternative title Sumuru (per the IMDb).

That is an alternative title of the 1969 film The Girl from Rio, but the films are completely unrelated. The 1969 film is about a supervillain named Sumuru, and is based on the Sumuru (character) series of 1940s-50s novels and radio plays by Sax Rohmer. The 1927 film is about a dancer named Lola.

The alternative title is not cited here, and seems to be based only on an IMDB entry (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0018454/) which was cited at the disambig page, which (a) isn't a valid source, and (b) is wrong.

According to BFI (https://www.bfi.org.uk/films-tv-people/4ce2b73a89cd5) this movie actually has the alternative title Lola, which makes sense. But I don't know if BFI pages count as valid sources, so I won't add that. --157.131.202.156 (talk) 07:14, 8 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
