Other Albums
i know The Game made various mixtapes, for example Charge to the Game, im trying to collect all of them, so please provide a list of all his albums he has made including mixtapes, thank you. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.199.21.95 (talk • contribs).
I'd like to add a link to a recent allhiphop.com news story that speaks of The Game's new album being pushed back to late summer, instead of the 6/6/06 release date currently shown for the sophomore release "The Doctor's Advocate."
The link is: http://allhiphop.com/hiphopnews/?ID=5682
The section also notes The Game being one day younger than fellow rapper Chamillionaire. Citing their birthdays November 28 and 29th respectively. Contradicting information basically, saying The Game is one day older. - snang

Who Got Game?
- The thing is not all of those are offical releases. These days anyone can make a compliation of an artist and pass it as a mixtape. The ones released by The Game himself or from one of his business partners is in the article The Game discography. --Ted87 00:03, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
Hoover Crips??
From what I have heard in many game interviews his brother Jevon and his father had ties with the Nutty Block Crips. I do know forsure his mother was a hoover crip(she even admitts to it in the documentary. But is games Father a hoover crip or a nutty block?
Aftermath
there has been said that game is leaving aftermath,is this true?
- Unconfirmed rumour at this point, but it could be true. --Ted87 17:21, 14 June 2006 (UTC)
Change of Heart pic
The Change of Heart pic featuring Game has nothing to do with him being a rapper. I don't see its purpose at all. It is more likely an attack on his credibility by some haters. I have now removed it, but hope someone will replace it with a more appropriate photo. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 124.168.9.87 (talk • contribs) 21:37, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
- The Change of Heart pic is mentioned in the article twice. It is there because it is part of his beef with Yukmouth and Joe Budden; plus it is also becoming part of his beef with 50 Cent. I don't care if it is in or not, but I don't think it is inappropriate.--Ted87 16:23, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- Game said on the Beef 3 DVD that being on the show made him a "pimp" and on his website he said he went on the show for the money. He has never complained about the show's portrayal of himself. The episode of change of heart was also probably the first time he was broadcasted on a nationally syndicated TV show so I think the picture should stay in. 68.8.247.129 05:50, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
- I don't really think it bothers him too much, he mentions it in "Dear Mr. President" -- 'give a hug too tight, that bitch gon yell "rape!" / that's why i aint had no pussy since my change of heart date'
Male stripper
He was once a male stripper so I thought it must be included in his biography —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Killahguerrilla (talk • contribs) 12:05, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- No he wasn't, there is absolutly no proof that he was. If it is put in as fact then it will be considered vandalsim. --Ted87 16:27, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- The picture has been proved fake. See here 203.217.38.40 11:17, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
Game has been insulted many times by other rappers in dis records saying he was a stripper, and he's yet to deny it. That's proof enough for me.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.97.7.153 (talk • contribs)
- He has denied it. And how does not denying something automaticaly equal proof? --Ted87 03:56, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
Uh, no he hasn't denied it... If I were to call you gay, in front of a stadium full of people, you would deny it, because its not true; but if it were true you would just say something to the effect of "shut up" if anything at all. Point to me, I win.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.97.7.153 (talk • contribs)
Theres a mixtape released by G-Unit titled "G-Unit Radio Pt. 21, Hate it Or Love it." Its cover is a picture of The Game in a strip club in a thong. Heres link to prove it. http://www.mixtapehype.com/product.asp?id=2609 --Lil' Infamous 19:12, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
- That info is already in the article. --Ted87 00:01, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
A "Pop Song" by an enemy rapper is not factual proof, neither is one single obviously distorted and doctored/photo shopped image. If he was a stripper I'm pretty sure there would have been a bunch of women who would have pictures and have recognized, yet 50, who didn't even know The Game when he was living in Compton is the only person with a digitally distorted image. Be for real and stop trying to slander. More importantly u should be more worried about why 50 Cent happened to own a provocative image of a male stripper, doesn't that strike u as strange.PhoenixPrince 08:34, 22 November 2006 (UTC) (sorry i forgot to sign it at first i stopped what i was doing to take care of something in the real world)PhoenixPrince 08:34, 22 November 2006 (UTC)
On a interview with SOHH.com Game said "I've been called loads of things, a stripper (Sohh; We're you a stripper) Hey man, If I see a girl I like who knows, I might do a little dance for her." This can be heard at SOHH.com and HipHopGame.com. Also, on the Show "Change of Heart" it is revealed that Game's mom did own a male strip club and Game went there, and also said he Stripped for his date. And people please, though Game was a stripper, that picture is fake. And G-unit had nothing to do with making that picture, it was first on the internet and 3 months later appeared on a G-unit mixtape.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.31.178.205 (talk • contribs)
Wack wall street or Game over movement
Note should i put in the response to g-unot movement since is about game and the gameover t-shirts selling over 100,000 or no. Because many people have sources about the G-unot responses.
Geffen
he's not on Aftermath anymore. He's Geffen/Interscope.
Official website: http://www.comptongame.com/ look at bottom right corner
- Yes, but under the "Artists" section on the official Geffen webiste, he is not listed as one of there artists. And also if he wasnt under Aftermath Records then he would change the title of his upcomming album. Because it is called the Doctors Advocate because of Dr. Dre, and he is the head of Aftermath. You need some extent on sources to prove that he is on Geffen. And also Aftermath Records is a branch of Interscope Records. --Darkneonflame 04:23, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
- I take back what i said above. According to SOHH.com it says that he did switch labels. [1] It also confirms that he is changing the album name to The Devil's Advocate. --Darkneonflame 06:18, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
WEASEL WORDING?
'The Game is considered by many to be a driving force in bringing back the West Coast hip hop scene and competing with many of his East Coast counterparts.' - KG
- I don't think it's weasal wording. In fact the sentence use to say "The Game is PROVING to be a driving force in bringing back the West Coast hip hop scene and competing with many of his East Coast counterparts." and a lot of people think so. BET plainly said he brought the West back BY HIMSELF[2]In an interview with High Times it says that people always discuss it.[3] --Ted87 05:29, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
No what weasel wording means is the situation involving the feud with 50 Cent to whereas the editors will claim the rapper was a stripper when there is no proven truth to the scandal. The feud with 50 Cent and G-Unit is mainly the reason for the weasel words/vandalism. The rapper is popular and this page is always filled with some form of misleading statement to uncompromise the neutrality of article. Saying that all the artists that are listed on The Black Wall Street Records is signed to Interscope is another way of describing weasel words. The rapper is a..... is another. I don't know too much about weasel wording but it's mostly based on wording. If I said that many people said that The Game is the main contributor to G-Unit's success, that will be considered weasel words. Good luck and good editing. LILVOKA 01:32, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
The West coast hip hop scene has always existed with or without him. Just because a west coast artist is personally popular doesnt mean other west coasts artists are.
- The article isn't saying he is or he isn't, but a lot of people beilive he is. LILVOKA, I think you need to look up the term "weasel word" because you are only touching upon the meaning. --Ted87 21:39, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
What is the song called?????
What is the song called thatn goes "girl i'll do anything to make you feel special.. man its easy to see that your special to me... whether we lovers or friends we'll always be... i want you to know your special!!!" whats with this name im hearing in the street called doja game's old stripping name—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 80.195.7.41 (talk • contribs) 15:15, August 17, 2006 (UTC)
- Stupid rumours. Pay it no mind. --Ted87 06:55, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
If it were a rumor you would think Game would deny it, but he hasn't. Plus, his mother owned a strip club, increasing the likelihood of Doja being a stripper.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.97.7.153 (talk • contribs)
- Just because his mom owned a strip club doesn't change any chance on him being a stripper or not. And The Game HAS denied it. --Ted87 03:54, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
So then you're tellin me, that if your mother own a strip club, and you were livin broke (which I'm sure you know nothing about) and needed a job, and you're 6'4" and in shape (no homo) that the likelihood of you getting a job at that strip club does not increase? Please, you MUST be trippin...
- Like I've said before there is no proof. It's all speculation, which doesn't belong in a encyclopedia. I'm not saying he was or he wasn't a stripper, but there is no proof of this. --Ted87 20:38, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
If your mother owned a strip club, chances are u woulnd't be broke...that makes no sense!!! 69.209.203.96 22:23, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
LIFE AFTER GUNIT OPINIONS
"Within the rap community, many of The Game's fans felt that the diss song entitled "300 Bars and Runnin'" was the pivotal rebuttal that destroyed the credibility of 50 Cent and G-Unit."
This is COMPLETE OPINION, this needs to be changed. This isn't a fansite
- There is nothing wrong with giving opinion as long as it isn't presented as fact or doesn't contain weasel words. The fact of the matter is most of The Game fans (and many hip hop fans in general) do think he destroyed G-Unit's credibilty with this song. Of course there is no way of proving it, but the sentence is the way it is to show what some people though was the effect of 300 Bars and Runnin'. --Ted87 19:29, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
Thats bullshit, its complete opinion presented as fact. Who decided that he "destroyed credibility" who are you to judge what the "rap community" believes. So its okay to say the "rap commnuity" believes Game's change of heart footage destroyed his credibility? Since when do Encyclopedia's state biased garbage that by your own words aren't proven. Not only that but it does use WEASEL WORDS.
"Wiki editors will often try to pass on POV opinions by writing under a pseudonym (e.g., "some fans think Allan Holdsworth is the greatest guitarist ever"). Unless you can provide a survey, a review or any similar type of source for your praise, it does not belong in a Wikipedia article."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:POV http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Avoid_weasel_words
It needs to be changed—Preceding unsigned comment added by Only1superman (talk • contribs)
Read a little closer. It says "within the rap community many of The Game's fans felt..." . It is speaking more on The Game's fans then the rap community (I'd even be in favor of taking out "within the rap community). Obviously someone who is a Game fan will probably feel that the song destroyed G-Unit's credibility. It doesn't say anywhere that he actually did. If you need a survey go to The Black Wall Street's offical form and ask the if it did or not (since it seems like the ideal place to find fans of The Game). But if you still feel it does show some sort of bias or POV, then maybe a part could be added about how some people felt the opposite way, therefore having both sides of the coin.
P.S. And since your so up on Wikipedia policy, why don't you take a look at Wikipedia:Civility before deciding to swear while discussing a topic. --Ted87 21:05, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
It's still weasel wording, especially with the "within the rap community". But yea I think there should be something expressing the opposing view, because as is, it looks biased.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Only1superman (talk • contribs)
I just removed the "within the hip hop community" and just left "many of The Game's fans" which is true. --Ted87 23:18, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
Jesus Christ. This is seriously a poor entry...this article would be just fine without it, and 50's rep was killed WAY before 300 bars...the "rap community" knows this, because unlike most of these Wiki kids they actually listen to rap that isn't mainstream...Go to allhiphop.com forums and ask them if Game killed 50's cred. HAHHAHA--Donnie from the mean streets of Boston, KY 17:06, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
- And go to The Black Wall Street forum and ask if Game killed 50's cred and almost 100% of them will say yes. It all depends on who you ask. That's why "withen the hip hop community" was erased. Anyone who is a fan of hip hop can be considered withen the hip hop community. --Ted87 02:10, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
The feeling within the rap community (non-0gunit rap community) that 300 bars has destroyed G-units credibility. Anyway, whatever the story is, the battle doesn't look like it's over. There's word that 50 and the g-unit camp are planning some big things (making a group to directly diss game) and maybe even eminem has been pressured to join 50 against game...—Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.217.74.204 (talk • contribs)
Moving section up
Does anyone else think that the "Life after G-Unit" section should be moved up to right after his bio section, or even merged with it. The order is a little meesed up as it currently is the article begins with his bio, how he came up in the rap game, is albums, etc. then it goes to his beefs with people, then it goes right back to talking about his music, where he currently lives, switching labels, etc. --Ted87 18:42, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
- While I don't think it is completly neccassary, id does make sence to move it together. Plus by naming it "Life after G-Unit" it can be implied that this article is in coronological order, which isn't entirely true. --Mad$ 04:22, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
- Why move the section up? It doesn't seem necceassary. Most the stuff happened after his beef with those artists. 146.244.138.26 22:34, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
- Well it's also the content. It talks about his beef which G-Unit, which belongs in it's respective controversy section (a lot of which is just repeat info). Then it says stuff like his plans on getting married, moving to Glendale, and leaving Aftermath, which all could/should go in the biography section. 71.137.6.210 23:30, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

tear tattoo
Even though the Game has a tear tattoo that doesnt mean he has served jail time. He has admitted himself in a certain song he has never been to the "penn". I have also heard that tear tattoos are not a meaning of jail time.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.79.153.45 (talk • contribs)
- A tear tattoo can just been that you have gone through major struggles in the hood. It can also mean you've killed somebody. --Ted87 00:29, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
i dont care i still love the came and 50—Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.49.243.231 (talk • contribs)
Game said in an interview... I can't remember which magazine, I think RollingStone? There was a large article on him and he said, roughly, that it can mean one of two things - either you've done jail time or have killed some one and he's never been in jail... insinuating he's killed somebody. I've never heard of any one getting a tear because they was goin through "major struggles in the hood." But, Game gets tattoos on a whim, ie his butterfly tattoo, which is now covered up by an LA tat... much like the sun tattoo on his chest which is now covered up by his NWA tat... I wonder what else he's got to hide...—Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.97.7.153 (talk • contribs)
Tear Drop tattoos also (and most often) mean that a friend or a loved one has been murdered.
Tattoos
There should be a section about his tattoos since he's got so many and they apparently seem to mean so much to him...—Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.97.7.153 (talk • contribs)

300 bars info incorrect
""The Game chose to distance himself from addressing Jay-Z and Dr. Dre as well as others on this single. 50 Cent responded through his "Piggy Bank" music video, which features The Game as a Mr. Potato Head doll and parodies many other rivals."
Actually he did address Jay. I think it was something like "...dissed, before you make Hova pissed. Why would I do that? When I was just a new cat?" also something bout handing him the crown or something. I would edit but its locked...--Donnie from the mean streets of Boston, KY 17:03, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
- Also 300 Bars is not a single. As far as the Jay-Z comment I think the writer was trying to say he chose to distance himself from addressing Jay-Z negativly. And he does mention Dre about 6 times, and Jay-Z atleast 3 times so it probably should be changed. --Ted87 02:03, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

"controversy"
can we not use this word, which a) is overused anyway, and b) does not apply because no one gives a ish about the Game-50 feud outside of hip hop, and relative to the East-West and Jay-Nas feuds it's minor, especially when 50 beefs with anyone for attention and Game doesn't seem to know how the industry works (he's really in over his head, thinking he's the ish when all he does is idol-worship other MCs.) "rivalries" or "conflicts" would be a better title.
also we should include the fact that the Dre/Elizondo production on The Documentary follows the exact same template as Get Rich, i.e. it does not have the West Coast flavor of 2001 or The Chronic. the only song that does on the album is "Where I'm From," which is not prod. by Dre. also the fact that Game's lyricism consists of a) incessantly shouting out other rappers/producers, and b) punchlines. i.e., it is not based in West Coast gangsta rap either.
so long as we source it and take out POV language, this would serve as an effective counterpoint/balance to the idea that Game's production/lyricism is really West Coast-oriented (Timbaland? Just Blaze?) not even sayin' it's bad -- some hype-ass beats. but Game seems to have an inflated perception of himself as the West Coast savior. 134.69.166.26 19:55, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
- I think "controversy" is a fine word, but if anyone else disagrees state your opinion. To address your second point, the article never implies any type of feel or sound other then saying he is a West Coast artist ie. a rapper from the West Coast. His constant shout out of rappers and producers is mentioned in "The Documentary" article. It is too early in his career to even describe a difinitive style of his, and most rappers' articles aviod this alltogether. --Ted87 01:58, 18 October 2006 (UTC)

Would anyone mind if the controversy section was shorted and/or parts of it removed? Some of them just aren't relevent to The Game such as the North Carolina incident, The Source fued, and the Snoop Dogg incident (which isn't even mentioned in Snoop Dogg's article). Thought it might be worth mentioning under "Controversy", the Lil Jon insult that was in his last single Its Okay...
"Turn on the TV and all you see is the A
You niggaz better make up a dance and try and get radio play
Keep on snapping your fingers, I ain't going away
I don't regret what I spit cause I know what I say
And niggaz talking bout me, they don't know when to stop
I got the Louis Vuiton beltbuckle holding the glock
No bean, no silencer, I know when to pop
Wait til Lil' Jon come on and let off a shot
I had the number 1 billboard spot
Niggaz stepped on my fingers and I climbed right back to the top"

- Unless it amounts to anything (such as a beef between the 2) I don't see how it is relevent. I don't recall Lil Jon saying anything about the song, nor has there been much controversy over it.--Ted87 20:43, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
I think Game was referring to Southern music and general, especially the genre of rap known as Snap Music. It definately sounds like a diss (not directly at lil jon), because in the edited version, he says something like:
"Turn on the TV and all you see is the A
You better do what they do if you want radio play"
He wouldn't have changed the lyrics if they were acceptable for mainstream play. I think Lil Jon is also a good friend of Games because a source (can't remember which) did mention that Jon was at Game's engagement party.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Doja (talk • contribs)

Should the remix be mentioned? Isn't it the biggest remix ever? Or is that statement false. It's got Jim Jones, Snoop Dogg, Nas, T.I., Game, Fat Joe, Lil Wayne, N.O.R.E., Jadakiss / Styles P, Fabolous, Jeulz Santana, Rick Ross, Twista, Kurupt, Daz, W.C, E-40, Bun B, Chamillionare, Slim Thug, Young dro, Clipse, Ja Rule—Preceding unsigned comment added by TydAmaNN58 (talk • contribs)
- Unfortuantly this article is lacking in Game's bio and music, so such info is not to relevent compared to what is already there. Hopefully I can gather enough (sourced) info were such things can be included in the future. --Ted87 17:41, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
- I added that a remix was made. --Ted87 19:41, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
The Game vs. Vida Guerra
http://www.hhnlive.com/features/more/152 This is an interview that Vida had. A good amount of it talks about how The Game was trying to talk to her, etc and how she rejected him. She goes on to talk about how The Game tryed to get back at her by dissing her in hte song "Wouldn't Get That Far" from the Doctor's Advocate. I doubt it but, is this good enough information to add to the article or does it not matter? I just want to run it buy you guys to make sure before someone adds it themselves. - Unregistered.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.12.150.178 (talk • contribs)
- IMO it doesn't seem that relevent. People exchange comments all the time, but unless it has some prominency to it, we can't really document every comment made by people. --Ted87 19:03, 17 November 2006 (UTC)

It could be in relation to The Game's supposed "diss against Lil Jon" (as mentioned higher on this page) since Lil Scrappy is also apart of Lil Jon's label. At the same time it doesn't fully make any sence becasue Katt Williams is also in the video and The Game and The Diplomats are close in the underground. I don't know. Anything is possible. - Unregistered 28 November 2006 23:59—Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.12.148.222 (talk • contribs)
