Incorrect information - Fritz, Mike and Mo

[edit]

The "Mo" in Fritz, Mike and Mo, the trio formed by former lead guitarist Fritz Fryer, is said to be Maureen Evans, an established pop singer with a number of previous hits. This appears to be incorrect: according to a number of sources, she was in fact Maureen Edwards, born approx. 1931 - see http://www.manchesterbeat.com/groups/fritz,%20mike%20and%20mo/fmm.php and http://www.ross-on-wye.com/index.php?page=ross_623-Fritz_Fryer. On the first of these webpages, the comments are made by her granddaughter so it's likely to be accurate.

Blackburn music shop

[edit]

There was only one music shop on Penny Street - Reidy's Home of Music. It had two floors, selling records on the ground floor and instruments on the first floor. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 19:14, 28 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
