22 or 23 lineups?
[edit]A source from the Wall Street Journal indicates there have been 23 lineups over the years. An anonymous editor keeps changing the number to 22 but provides no reference for the number. Does anyone have a source that states 22 lineups? Thanks, Alanraywiki (talk) 03:39, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
According to the Four Freshmen Society website, the current configuration of the group is lineup #22. Cds7948 (talk) 02:10, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Signature Songs
[edit]Regarding the recent edits by Special:Contributions/64.41.0.166 that greatly expand the list of "signature songs": What makes them "signature" songs? I doubt if all these would generally be considered "signature songs". In addition, I think this list is too long for a paragraph; with all the quotations it is difficult to read and comprehend. I think it would be better if there were no more than five songs with a citation or notation as to why they are "signature" songs. The list of singles later in the article can speak to their body of work. hulmem (talk) 02:40, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
Laura Skylark
[edit]Someone, using a different IP address every time, keeps adding "-- Laura Skylark" to the last paragraph of the "History" section. It almost sounds like someone is trying to add a byline, or reference a person as a source, which does not meet Wikipedia guidelines. So I keep removing it. If the person who keeps adding "-- Laura Skylark" is reading this, please cite a reliable source using Wikipedia cite guidelines (see WP:CITE). hulmem (talk) 03:11, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
On the Atchison, Topeka and the Santa Fe
[edit]That song was recorded by the Four Freshmen, whose version I have a question about:
On the talk page for that song is "all the way from where?" I did notice "All the way from Philadelphiay". I have also heard the Four Freshmen version, and there I heard one occurrence of "All the way from Mahanoy City, PA" ("PA" is rendered as its letters: P A)
I will also post this question also on the talk page for Mahanoy City, PA. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.63.16.20 (talk) 14:53, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
