you best
[edit]This might not be the place to discuss this, but I'm really not clear at all on how one determines whether they are doing their best. Surely, we're always doing our best, aren't we, and that's it's only in hindsight that it might appear that we did not. --Rebroad (talk) 12:48, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
Toltec Wisdom
[edit]This article presents the claim that this book is based on Toltec wisdom as fact. A "Citation Needed" tag should be added, or language should be made more precise to show that this is the claim of the book, not an objective truth. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2402:7500:569:59F2:6D7A:D3E:2C78:9CC1 (talk) 04:56, 19 July 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Ashley Rao of Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors wrote that "Regardless of where we land on the spiritual spectrum—from skeptic to believer and across religious creeds—the application of Ruiz's tenets offers opportunities for transformation within our journey through grief." Rachel Thompson of HuffPost says the book "is an extremely helpful book you can put into daily practice in dealing with criticism of any kind."
Tom Brady has said that he took lessons from the book in the aftermath of the Deflategate scandal.

I'm changing this to According to the author, the book is inspired by a set of the Toltec people's spiritual beliefs.
