This is what I used to make my out of print claim: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_nr_i_0/102-3030524-8738536?ie=UTF8&keywords=Richard%20Mahony&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3ARichard%20Mahony%2Ci%3Astripbooks&page=1 . After seeing that Penguin had an edition published in Australia in 1998. I modified it to say that it was still in-print in Australia. --Scottandrewhutchins 18:55, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
Links in lead
[edit]The lead includes a sentence "It consists of Australia Felix (1917), The Way Home (1925), and Ultima Thule (1929)." I believe the links in this sentence are inappropriate, as they appear to link to more details of those particular books. Scottandrewhutchins believes they belong as they explain what the titles mean. It would be more appropriate to explain the titles in the sections further down about each book. I'm prepared to have a go if required, but I have not read the books and do not normally edit book articles. Do other people have an opinion? --Scott Davis Talk 23:32, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
- For example at the beginning of the "Australia Felix" section, An introduction like
- Australia Felix is a description used by explorer Major Thomas Mitchell in 1836 for the lush plains he discovered between the Murray River and the south coast of Victoria, including the area that later became the site of Ballarat.
- Ultima Thule is already linked in the middle of the description of the second book, but could also have an introduction like
- Ultima Thule was a medieval geographic term to denote a distant place located beyond the "borders of the known world."

- I have inserted these changes, as nobody commented here for over a week. --Scott Davis Talk 09:39, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

Although this has a long plot summary, it is not really a rounded discussion of the novel.--Grahame (talk) 14:17, 25 April 2008 (UTC) |
