Shlaes vs Krugman
[edit]A citation which clearly states that Krugman was commenting on this book is needed to support the material in the 'Criticism by Paul Krugman' section. Krugman's article doesn't specify either Shlaes or the book, and Shlaes article doesn't state that Krugman commented directly on the book. Nick-D (talk) 23:00, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- Yeah I just completely deleted that section. I had copied it from Shlaes' article. My bad. Bsimmons666 (talk) 23:57, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- I feel guilty about torpedoing your DYK nomination. Nick-D (talk) 00:19, 8 March 2009 (UTC)
- Haha no that was karma kicking my ass - I shouldn't be copying other Wikipedia articles. I spent less than 30 minutes on this article anyway. Bsimmons666 (talk) 02:40, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Further reading?
[edit]What does the "Further reading" section have to do with Shlaes's book? It's just a collection of FDR bios mainly. TuckerResearch (talk) 00:11, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
- I have thus removed it. TuckerResearch (talk) 05:56, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
Smears should be deleted
[edit]The last paragraph contains nothing but smears and labels ("born-again Antisocial Darwinism", "revisionist", "blind view of the New Deal "political mythology") and should be deleted!
