The Ford Plant is a local phenomenon and holds little to no means outside of the city of Brantford. I'm surprised this article stayed. I really don't feel that a local music venue should have a wikipedia article. If that was possible, any small bar or club could have an article just because. - Anonymous —Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.214.60.130 (talk) 12:46, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
I disagree that it is an unimportant local phenomenon, primarily due to the number of rather important artists that have seen fit to play there. It is distinct from other small local music venues in that respect, and also because of its model; as the article mentions, it is run as a not-for-profit, all-ages, no alcohol venue, which makes its continued community-supported success that much more noteworthy.
