New timetable 2017
[edit]The 'named services' Fish and Chips no longer appear on the new timetable that takes effect on 26 Nov 2017. 110.142.214.120 (talk) 03:15, 18 October 2017 (UTC)
Other reasons for the name
[edit]The Lithgow Mercury article says that the train got its name because in 1870 the fireman was John Salmon and the train guard was John Pike. With a Herron, a Salmon, and a Pike on board it wasn’t long before the train got its nickname, which is still used today. Sitalkes (talk) 02:24, 22 February 2021 (UTC)
