Backcountry director Adam MacDonald
[edit]I'm attending George Brown College. Adam MacDonald, director of Backcountry and Pyewacket, is teaching there. I spoke to him. He said the guys at Platinum Dunes approached him about directing The First Purge, but was shot down when Jason Blum didn't enjoy Backcountry. Should we mention that? --LegerPrime (talk) 19:10, 30 May 2018 (UTC) llll
Plot Error
[edit]Note: The plot section for this move (The First Purge) is not correct. It is the copy-and-pasted plot of the 'first' "Purge" movie. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:88:8000:8AB7:C1EE:445:B77C:BDAC (talk) 12:08, 9 July 2018 (UTC)
Time
[edit]"Sometime in the mid-21st century"? The first movie was set in 2023. If "The First Purge" happens before that, it must be in the beginning of the 21st century.--TeakHoken213.150.232.3 (talk) 09:03, 13 July 2018 (UTC)
Is the plot really that vacuous or ... ?
[edit]Is the plot really that vacuous or is this page just poorly written? The plot section is series of moments described, but it's not a description of a plot, a story. It gives some, but very, very little idea for why anyone is doing anything. It would be great if the article showed insight into the political shift of the nation that brought about the NFFA, and how that informed the path to imagining the need for the purge and the government's decision to enact it. America vs USA
[edit]According to e.g. The_Purge_(2013_film) the purge happens in the USA, not in America. --84.115.204.178 (talk) 23:19, 5 November 2018 (UTC)
