... that the 2018 documentary film The Feeling of Being Watched glances at an Arab-American neighborhood being watched by the FBI?Source: https://www.impactpartnersfilm.com/films/feeling-being-watched
Created by CAPTAIN MEDUSA (talk). Self-nominated at 20:05, 14 November 2019 (UTC).
- The article is new enough and long enough. But before I approve the nomination, I'd like to know if it has been absolutely proved that the whole neighbourhood was under surveillance. If it hasn't than perhaps the wording should be tweaked a little to sound less definite. By the way, the source you provided here (impactpartnersfilm.com) isn't a third-party source. --Moscow Connection (talk) 07:10, 15 November 2019 (UTC)

- It doesn't look like the fact of the surveillance has been absolutely proven, but okay, I'll approve this nomination. Cause there are multiple sources that treat that as a fact. (More: [2], [3].)
Good to go. --Moscow Connection (talk) 07:45, 15 November 2019 (UTC)- @Moscow Connection: how does a film "glance"? Yoninah (talk) 21:01, 16 November 2019 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: Do you (as a native speaker of English) think the hook must be reworded? Let's notify the nominator
(I didn't think it was badly worded. I did a Google search for "film glances at" now, and it gives 914 hits.) --Moscow Connection (talk) 04:53, 17 November 2019 (UTC)
I didn't see the film, but if it is a collection of memories of various moments related to the supposed surveillance by the FBI, than it indeed "glances". --Moscow Connection (talk) 06:31, 17 November 2019 (UTC)

... that the 2018 documentary film The Feeling of Being Watched investigates an Arab-American neighborhood being watched by the FBI? - that was mistake on my part I have replaced it with "investigates". Moscow Connection Yoninah. ~~ CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk 12:31, 17 November 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you. But I think you can do more with the hook than just state the plot. I'd like to look at the article and hook later today. Yoninah (talk) 13:36, 17 November 2019 (UTC)
- OK, I edited the article, corrected and added more info from the sources, and added another ref. Here is an alt suggestion:
- ALT2: ... that the director of a 2018 documentary uncovered evidence of FBI surveillance of Arab American families in her hometown outside Chicago? Yoninah (talk) 21:37, 17 November 2019 (UTC)
- @CAPTAIN MEDUSA: Do you like Yoninah's suggestion? I can approve his version right now. --Moscow Connection (talk) 04:56, 18 November 2019 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: I must note that the "proves" part of the article is sourced from the film's page on the Impact Partners Film website. But if you (as an experienced DYK reviewer) think it's okay, then okay, I can approve the nomination. --Moscow Connection (talk) 05:38, 18 November 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, I noticed that, but it is only a source for the synopsis, which is fine. Yoninah (talk) 13:15, 18 November 2019 (UTC)
- Okay, no problems then.
ALT2 is good to go. The article is new enough, long enough, and the hook is sourced. --Moscow Connection (talk) 13:59, 18 November 2019 (UTC)

- I'm afraid that a simple statement about a nominated article needing more referencing does not qualify as a QPQ, CAPTAIN MEDUSA. A complete review of the nomination must be done, including length, newness, neutrality and other policy requirements, hook, and all of the other DYK criteria. Finding a single flaw is insufficient. You can either complete your review of Template:Did you know nominations/Storme Webber, or do a new QPQ review that is complete. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 06:51, 24 November 2019 (UTC)
- BlueMoonset, the review is completed. ~~ CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk 12:24, 24 November 2019 (UTC)
- Restoring tick per Moscow Connection now that submitted QPQ review covers all the DYK criteria. BlueMoonset (talk) 17:59, 24 November 2019 (UTC)
