Existing text says "Kate Siegel as Camille L'Espanaye, one of Roderick's illegitimate children, and the sharp-tongued public relations head of Fortunato". In this text, the name for Camille is linked to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Murders_in_the_Rue_Morgue -- I get the relation, but the link seems like a non-sequitur and the article could be improved in my opinion by either (a) removing the link, or (b) explicitly stating the name reference and then linking it in that context. 109.144.216.26 (talk) 01:45, 15 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

same goes for many other names in this wiki article. Perhaps something like: [actor] as [character] (likely named based on Poe's [link]) 109.144.216.26 (talk) 01:47, 15 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Juno and Alessandra

[edit]

Does anyone have an idea if there could be a reference for the characters/names Juno and Alessandra? --Blobstar (talk) 23:44, 20 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No direct reference for these characters, but Juno is like a romance novel character – only the lady saves herself rather than let the man do it; Alessandra is rooted in The Tell-Tale Heart because its Narrator is also hypersensitive. Wyliepedia @ 07:56, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

The characters in the series are nearly all based on Poe’s short stories, each episode referencing a different one, hence the episode titles. It would be helpful to non Poe specialists to make that reference. I see the links were removed - so maybe something more explicit is needed, as suggested above. If you link the episode titles to the original stories, that's problematic because a linked episode title should normally link to an article about the episode itself. --Blobstar (talk) 17:30, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

misplaced citation

[edit]

For Ed Power of The Telegraph - but the reference is to an entirely different review by a Randy Something. By the way, the Telegraph is a rightwing rag, which explains the take. 2A01:CB0C:CD:D800:D948:DC28:C077:7F24 (talk) 11:38, 25 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not misplaced, but needs a subscription. Wyliepedia @ 07:52, 26 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Cast section

[edit]

The cast section currently contains unnecessary spoilers and character speculation without citation.
