Did you know... that The Entrance Bridge was the site of a 1955 accident when the Number 11 Red Bus's brakes failed, whereupon it crashed through a wooden retaining wall and landed in The Entrance Channel?

The bus crashed circa 1955? Nobody knows? No police reports, no newspaper articles? We're not exactly talking the Dark Ages here. How can they know the number of the bus and the cause of the accident, but not the year? Seems like a better source could be found. I know this isn't a GA or FA or anything, but still... Kafziel 00:33, 7 July 2006 (UTC) An article on the crash is in the book which the reference is given for. It says 'around 1955'. The book is really good with its sources, it was just this one which I could not find an exact date for.[reply]
