Release Date?

[edit]

Has this been released in Europe yet? It doesn't seem to be available. Stub Mandrel (talk) 21:37, 21 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Since it's a tour-only album, it really doesn't have a release date in Europe other than the date that the tour stopped in Europe. SlimDaddy (talk) 05:25, 28 October 2017 (UTC)SlimDaddy[reply]

LP?

[edit]

This is listed as an "EP", yet its running-time is 55:09. Sources don't seem to call it an EP either. Joefromrandb (talk) 09:27, 8 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Page title

[edit]

The page title shouldn't just be "The End (EP)". For one, it's to long to be an EP. And also, "(EP)" isn't descriptive enough and should at least be titled "Black Sabbath EP". SlimDaddy (talk) 05:25, 28 October 2017 (UTC) SlimDaddy[reply]

@SlimDaddy:@Sabbatino: Yes, it should be. This is unnecessary disambiguation as per WP:NCMDAB; there isn't another article with an EP called 'The End', so it is unnecessary to disambiguate by adding 'Black Sabbath EP'. CelestialWeevil (talk) 05:32, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@CelestialWeevil: I moved the page to its current namespace after some user moved it to "The End (Black Sabbath album)" without any discussion. This is not an album and was never marked as such by the band. They do not even list it on their website. I also have not seen anything in the news media (articles, reviews, etc.) that would label it as a studio album. However, the same could be said about it being an EP, because only reviews mark this recording as such. In my opinion, this is either an EP or a compilation, but it is not an album as someone tried to indicate. – Sabbatino (talk) 09:19, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Sabbatino: Ah, I see. I was looking for some more references, but it's tough to search for this release since the live album / concert movie has the same title. I think EP is the closest description, and I think moving it to 'The End (EP)' is the way to go. At least until someone finds a definitive source.
