...I think this is referring to "The Dismal Dinner," which I think was the name of a handful of cards given out prior to the movie that talk about a dinner party the Baudelaires had in which Sunny started teething, or something like that. I don't think it particularly merits an article, it's too minor, but maybe the information should be mentioned somewhere, like under the article about the Baudelaire parents. If it is to remain, it needs major cleanup, like perhaps actually posting the text from the cards (I know they're on the net somewhere). 18:29, 22 May 2006 User:217.44.117.59
Alright, I'll ask again, as apparently some people here are misinformed. Why is there such persistence in spreading plain wrong information on Wikipedia by continuing to redirect this article to a version with a misspelled, completely false name? "The Damsaiel Denner" is just wrong, it has no basis in fact, the mini-series was called "The Dismal Dinner." Damsaiel Denner is an atrocious misspelling made by whoever started this article. I don't see why it should be necessary for somebody to have to find scans of the little cards just to prove what is frankly obvious and anyone can already discover just by looking in a dictionary. I'm afraid I cannot understand the situation here. 20:54 & 21:07, 14 June 2006 User:81.132.183.11
While the move from "Denner" to "Dinner" is a good start, "Damsaiel" really isn't a word. The current misspelling of this article's name is now directly responsible for spreading belief that the misspelt title is, in fact, the correct one. I will again request that the page be moved to "The Dismal Dinner," which is the correct title. 07:39, 27 June 2006 User:217.33.207.195
